When I was young I discovered a creative side that enjoyed crafts, coloring, painting and jewelry. When I tried to figure out what my major in college should be, I was really drawn to Jewelry and metal works. So I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Crafts degree.
It took me years to get to where I am today. I could not financially afford what it would take to invest in my own work, so for several years I worked for others.
One day I thought I HAVE to do this now. Gradually I worked on and started to make my own uniquely different pieces. Slowly I created them and little by little started selling my jewelry. How fantastic is that!
When I began thinking my jewelry should have a name, thoughts of my aunt and mother came to mind. Then it hit me like bricks!! My aunt! She was an art teacher!! Her mother used to call her Lady Jane even though her name is Luella Jane, especially when she was acting particularly mischievous.
So join me in celebrating our continuation of Art and Life.
